VCST de Mexico : awarded with ISO14001 certificate

On March 12, 2009 VCST de México successfully completed the ISO 14001 certification process, after an extensive 5 days Stage 1 and Stage 2 audit carried out by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance.

With this realization, all VCST facilities are certified for ISO 14001.



VCST participates in Suppliers Fair in Wolfsburg

From the 29th 'till the 31st of October 2008, VCST will participate at the International Suppliers Fair (IZB) in Wolfsburg - Germany.



VCST de Mexico : awarded with TS16949 certificate

After an extensive 7 day session, VCST de México successfully completed the ISO TS 16949 certification audit from Lloyd's. This is an important milestone in the continuous improvement process and in the roll out of our global quality management system. Congratulations to all that contributed to this great achievement.


VCST qualifies for Bronze MQ11005 award at CAT

VCST participated in 2007 in the Caterpillar Inc. Supplier Quality Excellence Process Certification program according to the MQ11005 standard and was awarded the "Bronze" Level. This "Bronze" certification demonstrates VCST's strong values and ethical principles in conducting business and commitment to collaborate with the Caterpillar objective to implement a culture for "zero-defects".
Quoting Mr D. Murphy, Vice President Global Purchasing of Caterpillar : "the achievement of this supplier certification validates VCST's understanding of Caterpillar's expectations of a world-class supply base and the commitment to delivering the highest level of quality to Caterpillar's products and services".
VCST is extremely proud for this recognition from one of it's partner customers.

VCST de México NEWS, Heat Treatment facility

“Today is another great day in the history of VCST. On our path to be a globally present world class partner, we are very proud to celebrate with you today the inauguration of our Heat Treatment Plant here in León – Guanajuato, México…” were the words of Mr. Peter Pecinovsky / International Operations Director on October 30th, 2007 during the official opening of our state of the art Heat Treatment Plant of VCST de México.

In the newly built facility (4,230 m²), operation has started with a 1.5 tons capacity batch carburizing AFC Holcroft furnace.
A state of the art Metallurgical Laboratory is already working in place and a second furnace will be installed in Q1 2008.

The building has room for up to 8 furnaces for future business. The facility will do the Heat Treatment for products of VCST de México (starting with 500,000 gears/ yr) but will also sell it’s free capacity in the local market.



Total investment will be around 10 million US dollars with an estimated workforce of 40 people.

The traditional cutting of the ribbon was presided by Representatives of both the City and State government and by VCST Management Board representatives.

Engine Expo 2007

VCST participated also in 2007 in the Stuttgarter Engine Expo from May 8th 'till May 10th. This time the attention was directed to VCST's global expansion & technology strategy.
As a result we welcomed various customers and interested parties from different global regions. We thank all participants for paying us a visit and experience our company.
